Arepitas is a little taste of Venezuela with big flavors. The arepas are freshly made, generously filled, and packed with authentic ingredients. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the casual atmosphere makes it perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. A must-try for Latin American comfort food.
Had to update my raving review after 4 years. This restaurant is a far cry from what it used to be. Following suit with every other restaurant in the industry: shrinking portion sizes, increased prices, and slower service. Pepito sandwich has nearly halved from the portion size it once was. Hand battered fries are no longer, and instead are what seem to be the equivalent to what you would get frozen from the grocery store. Soggy and undercooked. Doesn’t matter how far ahead you place your order online or over the phone. You’ll always be told “15-20 minutes”, and that time frame is guaranteed to be double to triple that. This place used to be the best in Round Rock, and one of the best in Central Texas. Clear mismanagement has altered what used to be a crown jewel into a piece of coal.
