Great Karoo Marketplace Buffet

The food is way over priced and some stuff wasn’t cooked all the way way too crowded

Not worth the money. We tasted a little of everything and nothing was really that good. It was pretty expensive for the food to not taste good. The coffee was the worst I habe ever had.

We decided to eat breakfast here and were just absolutely shocked at the $30 price per person. I mean the "all you can eat" buffet is good but it isn't $30 per person good especially for breakfast. On top of this exorbitant price, they make you pay before you enter the restaurant and then ask if you want to tip before you get service. $30 per person is just way too much to pay for breakfast. We were extremely disappointed since this is really the only place to eat breakfast on the property. I certainly hope they consider lowering the price to a more reasonable price especially for breakfast.

My family and I stayed at Kalahari on a Sunday and Monday. I'd been here before with my sister on a Saturday and they had a HUGE buffet so I was excited to come again. I was worried that since we were going to have breakfast on Monday and the resort was pretty dead, that the buffet would be limited so my husband went and asked the front desk on Sunday afternoon and they assured him there would be a full buffet on Monday morning. We get there on Monday morning, pay the ridiculous $30 per person, only to get to the buffet and see it was VERY limited! I was so mad! I understand if you don't want to provide a full buffet on weekdays because it's not busy enough, but why would you charge the same amount?! I understand that the front desk at Kalahari gave us bad info but if it's the same price I should get the same options for food. Ridiculous.
